Well, our final full day at Kingswood is over. The children are packed and are in bed.
We still have more activities tomorrow morning before we head off after lunch. I think everyone will sleep well on the coach!

Kingswood - Day 4 (Afternoon)
Afternoon activities... and later the children will be putting on their dancing shoes!!!
Kingswood - Day 4 (Morning)
It has been a very windy morning, with a few showers, but it hasn't stopped us having fun. The children's activities have included: orienteering, flash dance, low ropes and outdoor laser. Unfortunately, due to the high winds, the children were unable to do the 'Leap of Faith'. :-(
We've just had lunch (beef burger or chicken nuggets) and now the children are about to start their afternoon activities - hopefully, fingers crossed, the sun will make an appearance! :-)

Kingswood Trip
Departure arrangements
Just a quick reminder about departure arrangements for Monday. The coach will be leaving at 10:30am. So that parents who wish to can see their children leave, we are asking that children arrive at 9:45am.
Children will then leave their luggage by the KS1 ramp and go to class. Parents will then be able to drop off money and medication. Once registered, children will collect their luggage and take it to the coach.
Remember that children will need to bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
See you on Monday!!! :-)

New Head Boy & Girl!
Congratulations to Robert Spink and Bobbie Ford who have been appointed as Wykeham's new head boy and girl.
Also, congratulations to the newly appointed vice head boy and girl, Oliver Gilbey and Abbie Rice.
Children in years one to six enjoyed voting for their favourite candidate and posting their votes in the ballot boxes which were set up in the polling station in the key stage two hall.
Well done to all the year six children who nominated themselves for the position of head boy or girl and gave a speech in assembly.

A message from our new Head Boy:
Hello, my name is Robert and I am happy and also honoured to be Wykeham Primary School's Head Boy. I have been at this school since reception. It has been a long but fun journey to year six. All the hard work has paid off. I have different and interesting hobbies including: Scuba-diving, karate, piano, cubs and I also go to Explorers on a Sunday at church. I like to make as many friends as I can so feel free to come up to me and ask any questions or share your ideas because I will always listen. I look forward to going to secondary school and knowing that I have done a good job as Head Boy at Wykeham!
